For students that like history of the world, this teacher will give them the opportunity to express their opinions and take the initiative for a major paper (of your choice).
The tests are easy, studying will help of course, but also you can make up a test.
Even if you miss class several times you still have a good chance of getting a decent grade. And it is not that difficult, he gives you plenty of chances and really understands and takes into attention any requsts or concerns you might have. He's really a great teacher and person! He will listen to you and always try and find a way to help you for anything.
His classes are really fun and you will appreciate them. The subject was never boring for me, but if it is boring for you, he always tells some jokes and gets your attention.
This is really one of the best teachers I will probably ever have.
I recommend taking his class very much. He is highly respected at OCC, Higland Lakes, (and everywhere else) and I have never heard any student complain about him. You will see for yourself. He is the best.
I am really very appreciative and enormously glad I have had the chance to meet him and to be in his class.

Through Jesus, his teachings are very personal and he cares about his students. Level of work effort expected is high but hey, that is how we all learn. Dad your one in a million! Thanks for all the good times in your computer classes....Love, Ian Michael

Caring teacher who wants his students to learn. Caring, wants you to succeed, and he has a sense of humor. With Ian, it is more than just going to class. This is the first teacher to get a review at OCC and it is an A. That should speak for itself. OCC has many 5-6 campuses. I wish he taught all Novell and Microsoft Classes. I would take him over one of those Jam it down your throat training centers.

A teacher that screws up the curve for the rest of the faculity

If you want a good teacher and are at all interested in Information Systems, there is really no better teacher. His classes are fun and as difficult as required for real world knowlege. He also teaches at Walsh College (located in Troy, MI). Both schools are lucky to have him.
