He is a strong debate coach but is fairly self absorbed. He will give you attention if you are doing well competitively, don't cross him, and maybe suck up a little. Otherwise, expect to learn from the other debaters.

A BIG, BIG thing to remember is never piss him off. He's former military and it shows. He can go from "cool" to "keel hauling yer butt" in about half a second.

Jack's strengths are his recruiting (you will have good teammates), organization (he's anal), and political skills. You can expect his team to be well-funded and well-traveled every season. Just don't piss him off. If you do decide to break his rules, definitely don't flaunt it. As hard as it may be for debaters, keep your mouth shut!!!

Smart but oh so annoying!

Dr. Bacon of the Agricultural Department, knows his subject material very well & is fairly good at explaining. On the bad side he is very self absorbed. He loves to talk about where he has been and what he is done. He teaches with an attitude like he is all knowing. He gives the absolute worst test of any professor I have ever had. If you don't give him word for word what he expects, you will not recieve full credit. If he ask you a law question and you fully recited the U.S. constitution from memory you wouldn't recieve full credit for some reason or another. He ask test questions asking you your opionion or what you believe to be true and then will deduct points if your views don't exactly match his. Over all I feel he is a hoorible teacher and a definate liability to Agricultural dept. Most other students would agree. He is a downer in an otherwise up program.
