DONT GO!! First its a dry campus the faculty are bias and they focus more on tardiness and attendance than understanding the work THE CREDITS DONT TRANSFER!! 17 out of 42 i recieved there will transfer and thats to a community college!!! AND MOST OF ALL! the college im going to now asked them for proof i took an act there, they refused, all i needed was proof i took it and the score and they rudely refused, outright telling me they dont care, and they wont help me. This cost me 1 1/2 years and 17,000$ for a horrible experience and credits that wont transfer. They work best for students who already know the subject pretty well, but need the credit. You have to be very independent with your studies...hence "independent study". You have to be able to know what is not sinking in, what you need more time with and seek outside sources if the text assigned doesn't help make things clear. Independent means taking responsibility for your own learning,and that doesn't necessarily mean doing just the minimum assigned reading then complaining that you didn't learn anything. WHich sounds good to have less work, but the work you do is so easy a third grader could do it. And that won't help you in the real world. I came away from his classes feeling like I learned nothing and wasted my time.
