He has already been arrested for statutory rape, and he has also been in trouble with the law for child molestation. Aside from that, he is a second rate teacher. Lectures drag on endlessly, and he likes to assign lots of tedious homework. His exams are also difficult, and he seems to grades each one differently, especially those of female students. Mashburn is definitely a sexist grader. If none of this bothers you, or if you are a girl who wants to be hit on and molested, than Mashburn is your man.

A questionable teacher

She sometimes has trouble making important ideas coherent and gives obscure directions. It is important, especially with a subject as abstract as computer science, that the student knows what *all* objectives of an assignment. I only had her for the lab, however. I did not have her for lecture but I did not hear positive things about her lecture class either. On the positive side, she is a nice person and I'd like to believe she does try.
