She goes way beyond the call of duty. She is smart and makes you examine both sides of the coin. She is very empathetic and active in what she does. I took three classes of hers because I would always do well, but it wasn't just that. I looked forward to her classes and was excited to learn. She is part of the reason why I am an English major and want to be a teacher.

Horrible Instructor

His class was pointless. She is a really helpful, interesting lecturer and I enjoyed being in this class. The tests and quizzes are easy. She gives a review sheet out for you to study and goes over the material really well. Your grade is determined by your tests and quiz scores. There are no points given for attendance or homework. Homework is not collected but the quizzes are based solely from the homework and once we had an open notes quiz and if you did your homework for that day then all you had to do was copy the problem from your homework onto your quiz paper. She is really helpful and intelligent. I really enjoyed taking her class and would jump at an instant to take another class that she teaches! She is really organized and gives a comprehensive review for the tests so it is really impossible to do bad in her class. I highly recommend her!

Great class!

Mr. Hitchman is a really good teacher. His lectures are interesting and there is no homework or papers in this class! Your grade is determined by your four test scores. The tests are 50 points with 25 objective questions and 25 points for an essay topic. He gives a really good review sheet with possible essay questions. Come to class every session and take notes, listen and read your chapters and you will do well. He's a really smart guy who has been to many places like most recently Italy and has many useful things to say. I had this teacher and that commentary sounds just like something she would say about herself. She was really mean and bullish. She sarcastically chided people who asked questions. She also made it clear that she was part of an environmental team outside of school that was always on the lookout to fine people for infractions. I saw her one day with her binoculars on the lookout. She even threatened to punish the entire class if one person walked in late for class. She also kept these notecards in a collection that she said she studied which contained bios of all of her past and present students. She mocked some of their answers - like older students and how she was younger than some of the students. She was more like a prison guard than a teacher.

The GREATEST history teacher a student could EVER have.!!!

After returning to school after 20+ years, working my way through classes geared towards my AA in General Ed. I was advised to take ANY of his classes, I took History 7B. Let me tell you, his enthusiasm for the subject is evident in his 'stories' beyond what the books will tell you. When he would close the class, it was truly one of those, "time flies when you're having a good time" kinda feelings. He keeps you interested, he makes you want to learn more, he also couldn't be more knowledgable, he might disagree with that, but he is THE BEST history teacher. I thank you Mr. Wilson for opening me up to history.

Enthused historian.

Judd has a great personality and has a sense of humor.
