His favorite thing to do in class was remind us that we had to pass his class to graduate AND that he would be grading our comps. He also persistently threatened us with pop-quizzes (which, historically, were impossible). He gave two tests (that I remember). One was essay. Fair enough. The other was trivia (ex: Who's name appears on the London School of Economics?) Who cares - what a waste of my time. I received a 29 which was curved to a C+. What's the point of that? I resented every second I spent in that class. I am not afraid of a difficult class.
