His lectures could become a bit dull, but they were always full interesting facts, usually about things you thought you understood, but now realize you don't.

Grades are based on exams only, so if you need a lot of grades to keep your grade up, then this isn't the class for you.

Sleep report: I don't really recommend sleeping in this class. You really need the notes for the tests, and the lectures are interesting so you don't really want to. You won't get in trouble for sleeping, but your grade will.

Film Appreciation not a blowoff class.

When entering this class make sure to bring a pillow or some enjoyable reading material. The TWO hour lecture at the beginning of each class is a time to catch up on sleep, homework, or a book you happen to be reading, or sleep. :-) Needless to say that the lectures were very boring and monotone.

This class is very misleading. I know you are thinking that film appreciation should be a piece of cake, but it is more work than you are probably willing to put in. I barely squeaked by. I'll admit that I wasn't exactly working hard, but that was because its FILM APPRECIATION.

Anyway a couple of the movies were pretty good, but the move Shane is horrible.
