Class is great.

She isn't.

Take Parker.

Okay so they are making me write more. She thinks a lot about herself and little about students. Doesn't test on what we covered. Again, take Parker.

Handson Teacher

Amazing teacher. I took it in the summer when we only had four weeks to suffer. Smart move but the workload was high. Dr. Sandberg frequently helped me out of class to understand the material. One of the few teachers at JSU who can tell you how it really is in corporate America. He is probally one of the hardest working teachers at JSU. It is not advisable to be late or miss any days. He seems willing to help students who impress him to get jobs. You will probally work harder and stress more in this class than any other class taken in the school of business. It is probally advisable to take Francis if you cannot rise to a high level of performance. Not an easy A.However, well worth every dime spent on tuition.

Entertaining and engaging teaching style...

Worth taking. Has some unusual views on economics. Some people have found him sarcastic but I like him. If you like to THINK and you follow the lectures and make use of the extra help he offers on his class web page his tests are not hard. He is an interesting lecturer and very available to students who need help. If you have trouble understanding graphs, it may not be wise to take his class. If you are an economics, finance or accounting major you should find M&B a breeze.

Avoid at all costs

Some classes are difficult but worth the effort. The PowerPoint slides availiable from the library website are covered almost verbatum in class. Daily homework assignments. He will cover the entire book. He gives you many potential essay questions with answers. He puts a couple on each test. These make up about 20% of your test grade. Big on computer exercises and all test questions seem to come from the power-point slides. Not a very exciting presentation. Class covers some of what you learn in Intermediate Accounting. Will keep class till the last moment. Nice guy, somewhat shy.

Best accounting professor I have taken so far.

Excellent communicator.
