I didn't take her at HCC - she taught during the summer at North Harris-Montgomery Fairbanks Center. She was great - explained everything in great detail. I only wish that my other professors were this thorough and easy to get along with.

Peggy Lige is the best!

Peggy Lige is the best! If you get a chance, take her for College Algebra. I began her class never really understanding algebra. I left feeling like Einstein. Her test are challenging, but she gives 10% toward total grade for each test. Like I said, take her class! You will be glad you did.

Not if you really need this class

Mr. Echols is a nice person, but for most of his classes, he was a bit side-tracked -- something unusual for a Mathematics instructor. His responses to students' questions are always vague. Often he would not show up for class because he had meetings or workshops to attend to. I recall this occuring at least 5 times. Was our class not important enough for him to show? While this is only a basic math course, one should avoid having Echols for Algebra if you struggle with this subject.
