I was amazed to see her ability to express herself and the way she connected the gospel to every facet of history. She is fair and very generous to those who do what is asked. It is not that hard to do well..she spells it out very clearly in the syllabus. In addition, when I was involved in her class there was a TA that held many review sessions and even offered to edit papers. You'll learn a lot and be better for it.

The most intelligent woman I have ever known

Bonnie is the most intelligent, well-rounded, and prolific woman I have known. He doesn't give homework, but instead evaluates you on how you perform on exams, which is essentially how the rest of the world will evaluate you for the rest of your life. I would highly recommend taking a class from York--if for no reason other than his "old-school" approach is different from 99% of the other professors on campus.

He's really good

He did a good job of explaining difficult concepts, and provided more than adequate help outside class with review sessions and the open lab. Not alot of outside work
Tests are essays.
He knows what he is talking about.
He doesn't waste your time (take the night class).
This class will give you a better perspective of yourself and the world around you. He is a great speaker and has many interesting stories to tell. He also rarely gets of the subject.
