Highly interesting, and easy. I was able to complete it in about 1 1/2 weeks. I really enjoyed it. Even if you dont plan on becoming a pilot, this class is a great way to discover the world of aviation.

A good class

If you are considering taking this, I'm sure you are aware that this is the ground portion of your Private Pilots Certificate. This class pretty much follows the book (Jeppessen Private Pilot). This is the standard in the industry. The nice part is that you get college credit for something you would have done anyways.

The test questions are exactly the same as what you will incure during your written test (you have to do that at a CATS or Lasergrade center near you). I suggest doing the practice exams at Sportys.com before you attempt to take the test.

The first of many pilot courses

What can I say. The course work is to get your Private Pilots certificate. It doesnt get any more fun than that. Also, the instructor is realistic. If you cant get your license in 1 semester, they will give you an Incomplete. This gives you another year to complete it.

Greatest Aviation Class Ever-A must for any pilot

This was the most interesting, fun class I have ever taken at any college. This class is tied in with their Bachelors in Aviation, so it is designed for those working on becoming a professional pilot. This class is a must for anyone planning on becoming involved with aviation. It has excellent tips to keep your name out of the FAA's offices. The class was so interesting that I did all of my course work in 1 week. I will keep the book forever.

Interesting and boring at the same time

This class tends to get a litte boring. There are parts that are interesting. Mainly the parts about the early history of aviation. Then it goes into things like specifics about every single boeing aircraft ever built. Those parts are like reading the parts in the bible about every person who ever lived.

The teacher was good, but the class was boring.

Everyone should take his class.

I had Brian Birch for 2 philosophy classes and he was probably one of the best teachers I'll ever have. His lectures were very well prepared and opened up the class for discussion. He was avaliable by appointment which he was more than happy to make, for as long as you need. He was a really great teacher and almost made me want to change my major to philosophy!
