No matter how much you don't like him or how bad you do on the exams, he has a major curve at the end. So just do as much as you can and you will pass. I took his class as a online course where we only meet 4 times throughout the semester. The online material was very difficult to follow and was originally designed as a supplement to a lecture course, not as a stand alone. I know that about 50% dropped the course due to its difficulty. He responds like a child imagine Philosophy remaining a respectable field for too long. when challenged. Can you imagine. . .a philosophy teacher that can't handle being challenged? Also, we had a person in our class that he did not like because he constantly challenged him, so he found a creative way to fail him- - - an honor code violation. This guy is nothing but trouble. He does so much for his students and is always willing to help. I recommend talking to him outside of class if you have ANY questions because it will show him that you are interested in the class. DO NOT BE AFRAID OF HIM OR HIS CLASSES!
