I'll sort the problems of the course in order.

1. Grading policy (point system) is incredibly confusing. In questioning the teacher about this she couldn't clarify her own system.
2. Quizzes seem purposeless. The questions often times don't make sense, and the answers seem to be more based on feelings and emotion rather than author intent. Often times students have written the quiz questions in substandard practice.
3. Lack of direction from teacher and over reliance on student discussions. Students discuss topics from the reading often bringing up irrelevant information or making incorrect summarizations. Little or no comment is given from the teacher leading to incorrect answers on quizzes and paper topics.
4. Pace of course gives little time to digest long or difficult texts. Adding to this the little discussion by the teacher leaves the student often times confused.

For those who love literature and are extremely adapt at literature study this course would be a welcomed one. For any student trying to learn literature through these authors this class is NOT recommended. This isn't a class for students as much as it is a class for lit. fans/experts.

Made Calculus understandable

She broke down very complicated subjects into simple terms making them quite easy to understand. She shows multiple ways to solve problems. Her tests range the spectrum from easy to very hard. Her grading policy is very fair however. She has a strong wit and doesn't like to be challenged. Overall, she made this subject enjoyable.
