I've heard he is a pretty good drama teacher. As for Speech 110? Let's just say, INSTANT 4.0. This is the class to take if you need your GPA boosted. If you show up every day (he's a butt about absences) and give all your speeches on time, no matter HOW BAD THEY SUCK you'll get a 4.0. It's actulaly a fun class because a lot of people give speeches on weird topics (one person gave a speech on how to bake pie and brought us all samples. another guy gave a speech on why everyone needed to masturbate more. yet another guy explained how to steal road signs. etc etc etc). But it's also a feel-good class. You don't really learn anything. After giving a speech, the person is supposed to be commented on, but all the comments are always feel-good pats on the back. No one has the nerve to say "that speech sucked" and if they do, they are ostracized. He's a tough grader, but he is also an excellent lecturer and he encourages class discussion. if you want to have a fun time spending the whole period at least once discussing last night's reading with all your classmates in an open forum, he's the guy for you. OF all the teachers I've had here, he's gotta be in like the top 3 or 4 for being the coolest. He doesn't discriminate or play favorites.
