She is very personable and likable and she is VERY involved in her class. She really should be teaching other subjects instead of this Troy "orientation".

Interesting Class

The class was not hard, though the exams were challenging. If you get anything less than a B+ in this class, you just didn't even try. Ms. Richardson could stand to make an effort to make the class more fun, as music should not be so serious all of the time. But, overall she did a pretty good job of presenting the material.

Good Job

Ms. Enloe does a great job of teaching the basics of Office '03. She is a very involved teacher and she grades quickly and fairly. She will be there to answer all of your questions. If you already know a fair amount about the Office programs, you could easily CLEP out of this class. Even if you consider yourself an Office guru, don't be surprised if you learn something new in this class.

Work hard or this class with kill you

Dr. Crews is a likable guy, but a really tough grader. Your weekly assignment consists of lots of definitions and you'd better be thorough. One complaint is that the content of the weekly assignment was not necessarily the content of the weekly exam. Every test for this class nearly left me bald, especially the mid term and final. He really should participate in the weekly discussions more because there is so much to learn in this class it would be nice to have some additional help. On the upside, you WILL learn a great deal about history in this class if you really work for a good grade.

Ehhh....it's art

The class itself is fairly easy. The normal weekly readings and assignments (i.e. fake reading through 5 chapters a week). Weekly discussions (sometimes) in relation to the weeks reading. Instructor encourages personal interpretation of the art, and participates on the discussion board. It would make a good elective class instead of a requirement.

Easy, but "okay" teacher

Expect an easy but time consuming class. Tons of definitions to do each week, along with a boat load of short and easy quizzes. Discussion questions are relevent but the teacher does not participate. You will not get any feedback on your weekly assignments so you must be thorough with your (self teaching) definitions so you can pass your quizzes easily.
Not a bad teacher but not very involved either and VERY slow to grade assignments.

Good Teacher

Overall a good teacher. The weekly assignments could have been explained just a bit more, but I was still able to pull through them never getting less than a B. The weekly discussions were relevent to the weeks lessons and useful. The instructor is very active on the discussion board and helps to get the hampster wheel turning. She is a tough grader in comparison to earlier classes, but I believe it is warranted in an English Lit class. If you are looking for a free ride, you will not find it here.
