He's also a really nice guy. Trouble is, he can't hear very well. Yes, I know he can't help that, but it made for a strange class. About 15 people at the back of the room talked and jabbered and most of the class even shared answers on the tests - by speaking out loud. I had a terrible time trying to decipher what was happening because he never stopped everyone from talking. His class is easy, though, so it could be worse. The notecards and "pops" are a pain, but you can make a good grade with a bare minimum of effort. He even takes late work up until right before the semester ends.

Hard, but worth it.

This class was really interesting and I enjoyed it. Dr. Moon's exams are incredibly hard, though, even if you study a lot. Beware of the huge and wretchedly extensive matching sections (all of his classes are like this, I've had several) because they will get you. He isn't unfair, but he is very hard. I learned a lot from him and loved the class, but prepare to bust your tail if you have him.

Excellent professor but busy work...

Excellent Professor! Only downside is he makes you read these extremely long articles about South America and then write summaries on note cards to present in front of the class. You have to do this four or five times during the semester. The plus side is he doesn't take off for anything being late so often I wouldn't 'bring' mine that day so I never had to present my articles. If you come to class and look over your notes the test are no brainers. Not because he's a joke professor but because his lectures are excellent. Very smart man and funny.

Very Helpful Teacher

She's really sweet and willing you bend over backwards to help you out. If you turn your papers in a week early she checks them and returns them to you so you can make corrections. Very helpful. Lectures aren't too bad and the workload is very light.

Awesome stories.

Great man and a joy to listen to but strays from the subject often and ends up helping you out too much at test to compensate. He is a true experence to have as a professor though, very funny and witty. Excellect stories that you will never forget.
