Herb's quite possibly the best professor I've encountered in my significant college career. His classroom performance has sparked my interest in anthropology. Though I remain a biology major, his understanding and rapport have led me to take additional courses from this exceptional educator. While Maschner refuses to "dumb it down" and cater to the will of whiners like bricheez, his grading is fair and his classes are exciting and inovative. (By the way, Bricheez, he doesn't believe you "are to stupid to become one," but your spelling skills indicate that you may be TOO stupid! Maybe you should consider your own abilities prior to any criticism of others? How did you even get into college?)

Bad Prof.

Dr. Maschner is a very difficult Prof. He thinks everyone should aspire to become an anthropologist, also beleives most are to stupid to become one. He is the type of teacher that will have all the required texts written by him. If you don't care for fishing stories, sexist remarks or hearing about your Profs. social life STAY AWAY!!

Try to find another Prof.....

Dr. Eckert teaches students like lesser people, but she will definetly prepare you for ENG 201. If you are willing to play pet you will ace the course, if not you'll still pass but don't expect an A.

Godd Prof.

Dr. Kruger makes Geology so easy. He lectured directly from notes that are made available to copy at the nearest Kinko's. There is no real need to purchase the $60 book because tests came directly out of his notes. Only downfall is a required Sat. Fieldtrip or a paper if you can't make it on the trip.

Great Prof.

Thsi classcovers fine arts requirements. Dr. Bond is a great teacher. She makes the context understandable and interesting. The class is easily passed with a little bit of listening effort.

His lectures are brain numbing more often than not besides being irrelevent to most assigned work. You can get by in his class by only attending quiz days (he tells you when they are) and showing up to recieve the essay tests. The assigned reading is reletively easy, and interesting, as are the quizes. In short, he is easy to pass but don't expect any incredibly stimulating lectures or general learning experiences.

Very good teacher. Take him.

Very good teacher. He is good at taking complex ideas and principles and simplifying them to where they are easy to understand. He's slightly on the eccentric side, but very amusing.

He also tries to get to know everyone in the class on a first name basis, which seems to be rare any more.
