She gives great lectures and gets you excited about editing. She can be difficult to deal with at times. She treats everyone in the class as if they were a little snotty kid right out of high school. I took her class as a working professional at age 28, and had some issues with her. You can ask a simple question, and get a lecture or she could bite your head off. She has a stereo type of the typcial student in her mind, and will treat you that way regardless of what you do. If you can get beyond this, she is a great teacher.

Average.

This class is incredibly fast paced for the first 5 weeks. There is a very time-consuming project every week. The problem is that there really isn't enough time to plan and do the project well. Also, Jonathan presents the basic ideas in class, but does not really teach how to use them effectively. His critiques are almost non-existent. During critiques instead of telling you how to improve, he basically looks for class participation, and you get very little useful criticism. He does not teach much that you can not find in an entry level photography and storyboarding book.

Great drawing teacher, especially for beginners.

A great teacher to learn from. He is from Korea and does have some problems with the English language, but it forces him to break things down into very understandable parts. He uses a step-by-step building block approach to drawing that is very easy for anyone to learn. I highly recommend him, especially for students going into 3D Modeling. His approach is three dimensional as oppossed to a more classical approach.

You will learn how to draw in this class.

Carol is very professional and is there to help each student acquire the skills they need to draw the clothed figure correctly. She has an eagle eye for mistakes, but she criticizes because she wants you to improve. An excellent teacher.

A good teacher, a fun class.

Carol is very enthusiastic about teaching drawing and about drawing in general.
I feel that I have learned a lot from her.

An okay class.

Allows slackers get away with too much, other than that, a good teacher. The class takes on a similar approach to the direction a short film would take to produce a final project. I think this will help lay down the foundation for following classes in 3D.
