He finally helped me understand basic algebra with his methods of teaching. He takes time in class to thouroughly explain problems in more than one way. I've never met with him outside of class since it was not needed. He is somewhat fast paced to make it through the semester but reviews the next class day for what material was covered the previous day.

Fantastic!

Prof. Grossmann is the best professor I've had so far for German. She has an understanding in teaching things in different ways that others can understand. She is very understanding to a students unique needs, and she is usually always available in her office for help.

Great professor

Great professor. Reccomend to everyone! Knows what he is talking about. In classes, he would tell us some examples then we would get into groups. Every test is over 2 chapters so one week, we went over 1 chapter, the next week, the next chapter, the 3rd week is the review week. For the review week, my class liked playing jeoperdy so we did that.

Hard Class

I didn't realize until yesterday (last day of class), how nice this professor really is. I have more bad things to say about her teaching the course than good I am afraid to say. When she went over materials, she went more into the reason why we have the material than how to apply the material. We only received approx. 2 pages at the most for notes and sometimes, not even that. You really have to pay attention in that class. It's easy to fall back on. I believe that she may have a problem b/c she is a math instructor, she knows a lot of math, she knows the easier ways of math, she knows a lot of math, that it may be hard for her to come down to our level of thinking for this course. She's a great person though!

A wonderful teacher, good course.

Dr. Crowell did very well in this course. A lot of papers were introduced to support the current knowledge of molecular biology. Different from most biology courses, you will study not only knowledge, but also way of thinking in this course. Every bio-related student should take it.
