She keeps my attention for the whole period (which is hard to do after luch). She does a great job of encouraging reflection on gender issues and has cause me to see several parts of my life in a new light. The readings she assigns are thought provoking even if I don't entirely support the views of some authors. The workload is very reasonable.

Jepsen makes calculus bearable

Calculus is not at all my favorite subject, but professor Jepsen made it bearable. He had an intrersting sense of humor that I think comes from being around math for hours each day, but it made the calss more interesting. Proffesor Jepsen was good at encouraging us to look at problems in several different ways and helped create a non-intimidating classroom atmosphere.

This was a time consuming and by no means easy class for me but I would rather go through it with Jepsen than Adelberg.
