Garth Ferrell

Garth Ferrell was an excellent instructor, introducing the subject of law in business in a reasonable, logically constructed and most importantly understandable way. Garth clearly presented the course requirements and took the time to clearly identify any deviations from the general course module. Garth responded promptly to inquiries and provided additional guidelines to the class when needed. Garth kept the study of law (primarily for a group of engineers in the MS CIS program) understandable, interesting, relevant to the here-and-now of business and at times even openly enjoyable. Having taken this class it became clear how some could develop a true love for the law, even in its mechanical aspects. With Garth's leadership, the course left me with a broad understanding of the operation of the law and its applicability to business. Assignements were demanding but reasonable and the feedback was detailed and extremely helpful. Garth did a tremendous job of presenting the material! A++
