Tim, is very helpful and answered all the questions posted to him in class. He is very organized and is a great motivator. I have to say, he knows his MATH! I also like the fact we are given the opportunity to do extra credit problems to help our grades, I know I needed this. I particularly did not enjoy the Daily Questions, they seemed to confuse me. I think those could be improved. Other than that, he is one of the better teachers I have come across, he really explained the problems step by step and took time for all our questions!

This was Tim Forden's first class, and he stuck to all the rules to impress his mentor. Tim gave no lienency for lateness, he stuck to the rules. I think Tim eventually will become a good teacher if he just lightens up! His lectures were difficult to understand, he did not give answers in posting to class but encrypted messages in personal emails. Also Tim did not give punctual feed back which is ironic because if we were late we were deducted points. Many cases the class caught errors, which likewise Tim deducted points. His review for the final was unhelpful. I also think Tim had a faceitious mind. The assignments did not coincide with the ALEKS program, and the assignments and reading material were excessive and difficult to comprehend. Basically we learned by reading the book with minimal help or reiteration of procedures from instructor. If you are tired of instructors giving A's for classmates lack of participation then you will love having Tim as an instructor
