This instructor needs to remember that he is teaching to undergraduate students

My impression is that this instructor did not appropriately answer my questions. For example there was a question asking for the assumptions of binomial and normal distributions. I answered and his response was that my answer was wrong and he referred me to his other posts to find the correct answer. There was no post with the correct answer. The other students had posted definitions as a response to the question and he credited them, even though there were no assumptions listed in their posts.

His lectures were not easy to follow and while they did include examples, the examples did not correspond with the work that was assigned for the week. The bulk of my assignments did not receive feedback simply a numbered grade.

The text book did not have a glossary nor a list of commonly used formulas. The instructor recommended doing the exercises to enhance the learning experience but there were no answers to the exercises so it was impossible to tell if you were completing the exercises properly.

The class was very difficult to learn from, because of the lack of instruction. When I tried to relate real world examples to the teaching there was no feedback from the instructor as to weather I was right or wrong.

I believe this is an important course. It is fundamental to not only continued academic studies but useful at work. I do not believe I learned enough from this instructor to feel I understand and can control the subject matter. Consequently I have to make this up on my own and hopeful get a much better instructor for the second part of this course RES/341 II

This instructor needs to remember that he is teaching to undergraduate students not graduate students.

Excellent instructor!

Dr. Jindal is an absolutely AWESOME statistics instructor. He was always available to help answer questions and explain the answers, as well as concepts and theories. He is demanding, yet fair. He has high expectations, yet helps students stretch to higher levels.
