First off, Astronomy is a TOUGH class. I was not expecting such a heavy work load for a level 100 course. Bruce made a difficult course seem not so bad. He was available to offer assistance with questions, concerns and his participation within the main classroom was outstanding. He has a great sense of humor, which is balanced nicely with his high expectations of his students. Be prepared to work hard! Bruce is strict, but very fair. He never gave me a grade I did not deserve. Feedback was received in a timely manner. Though there were times when I wanted to pull my hair out because the work load was so large, I look back as this being one of my favorite classes because Bruce was fabulous!
