Amy Kolan

Dr. Kolan is an amazing mathematical physicist! I've met a lot of physicists at the Universities of California (esp. Berkeley) However, she is one of the most dynamic professors I've ever met! Her class is very exciting! I always had not enough sleep but never felt asleep in her class even though I was extremely tired! (Of course, there were a few times that I tried to struggle against sleepiness so that I could not concentrate!) One reason that I decided to remain at St. Olaf is to attend her E&M class! Otherwise, I would have gone to Berkeley already.
