THIS LADY RULES!!!! I went to Costa Rica with Senora Castro and will NEVER forget it. She is the most patient, kind, energetic, responsive teacher. She cares about her students. Her class was never boring, always a pleasure to attend. I learned more Spanish with her than the totality of all my Spanish teachers combined. Take her classes, go to Costa Rica with her, enjoy! You will not regret it. P.S. M.F.Castro is the real deal, she is honest, frank, and genuine to boot.

Senora Castro is the BEST college professor I've ever had. I am a staff member with both B.S. and M.Ed. degrees. I decided to go back and learn to speak Spanish in order to enhance my marketability. I took Intermediate Spanish with Senora Castro on the advice of 3 of my students. I am so glad that I did. I found her to be very enthusiastic about teaching and passionate about her students learning to speak and write the language. She is sincere in her interactions with students. She makes class fun and extremely interactive. Her homework assignments and tests are all reflective of what she teaches in class. And she brings Spanish into practical, everyday terms, situations and usage. She shares her personal experiences and struggles with the language when she began. She also encourages students on a DAILY basis to persevere until the end when they feel as if they can't learn the material or speak it well. She is ALWAYS available to students. And you'll love the stories about her dog that she brought back from Costa Rica. His name is Rico Tico. I highly recommend Senora Mary Castro for ANY Spanish class that you may take!
