Dr. Cooper is a good teacher. His lecture style is effective but doesn't show a lot of examples. The homeworks take FOREVER like 7-8 hours for each assigment. But in fairness the homework counts for a large portion of your grade, it must be done to fully understand the material so I guess it may have been worth it. The lab is no fun; write ups and the anal rentativness (is that a word?) of the subject matter stink, but are not incredibly diffucult. In the lab a project must be designed by you and requires a significant amount of outside research but because it is designed by you so this part is slightly interesting. The lecture and the lab are some what interesting but both are VERY time consuming. Be prepared to work, LONG and diligently for this course. The lecture and lab grades are combined in the end (40% Lab and 60% Lecture) for only 1 grade in the course.
