George Jacobs

This professor is wonderful. I can't recommend him highly enough. His lecture/discussion is thoughtful and smart. He knows how to lead students to insight into what other authors have written. He is especially knowledgeable about Southern American writers. This is probably one of the very most enjoyable courses I've ever taken. A weekly one page paper and two longer papers were fun to write. There were no tests for this class.
