Kelly Jenkins

Very nice gentlemen, but can't teach and doesn't care! He doesn't prepare for his class lectures, and is VERY unprofessional during them. I haven't learned anything in this class. You can't get help with the projects, because he hasn't written them before. He won't know how to help you. He'll even tell you "I don't know I haven't written it before". He stays in the room during evaluations, making people feel uncomfortable. Definately DON'T get this guy. You won't learn anything, and you'll only get frustrated while trying to adapt to his sorry way of scheduling projects. This class is a complete waste of time when taking it from him.

It is apparent that the professor does not prepare for his lectures. He puts little time, if any, into planning prior to discussing topics with the class.

He takes forever to turn stuff back - IF AT ALL. He cannot make up his mind on what to assign for projects, or when they are due.

It is ashame that UNCC is so desperate that they can only afford someone of this caliber. We pay good money for our education but you'll get the short end of the stick if you wind up in this guy's class.

Wake up, UNCC Computer Science Dept - this guy is taking your money and hardly doing any work for it.

This class is a waste of space on the schedule of classes. I did not learn anything from this teacher. In fact, I became more confused on topics that I thought I had mastered.

Mr. Jenkins is an amiable enough guy, but I took this class as a required course and unfortunately, he was the only one teaching it.

Don't take this class from this guy...

jenkins is the worst teacher i've ever had, no joke. the class was a waste of my time, because he didn't even know half the stuff he was trying to teach. he kept asking students if what he taught was right and had them do his work for him. he seemed to think it was ok to behave this way as long as he tried to be friends with the class, but he's wrong.

he didn't even know enough about the projects he assigned to help out people who had questions. he would refer them to classmates for help. everyone was frustrated in this class.

on teacher review day, he stayed in the class and walked around while we were filling out forms. when someone told him that he was supposed to leave and that people were getting upset, he said he didn't care. that pretty much sums up his attitude towards teaching.

do not take this teacher, or you will be sorry.
