Remember 5211? Dig out your textbook, notes, and brain. 6211 is considerably similar to 5211, with somewhat more advanced topics in the second half of the semester. (Oh, and watch out for a suspiciously large sticker on the back of the book if you buy it from Gray's Bookstore - under my sticker was a notice that it was illegal to sell the book since it was a free copy provided by the company!! Too bad I haven't bothered to return it.)
Dr. Raja is a soft-spoken professor with a very direct approach to problem solving. Easy to talk to in his office or the classroom.
Class notes are often provided and an overhead is used.
Coursework is somewhat traditional (follows text considerably-- if not entirely). And it's usually in the same classroom as 5211 -- so beware of flashbacks and deja vu. :)
Dr. Raja is another physics professor who likes to keep explanations simple. Keep it in mind -- don't complicate the issues.
