Nadine Russell

This class was taken during the summer. Professor Russell did a great job explaining the material. She would review material often to make sure you understand. The lectures in class were taught through powerpoint slides that you can get from the books website or from her. Homework was due everyday but only a certain # of them were collected at unknown times. She would also give pop quizes at the end of class.

Grading: 4 exams 100 points each Hwk, Quizes, Attendance 50 points

A - Above 405

Before the exams she would give a study guide and study problems that she would spend the class before the exam on.

*Her exams were my only complaint. The questions were sometimes tricky. On the exam she would use "similar" questions to questions that were on the study problems sheet, but would have a different answer. So you have to know you stuff.

Studying for the exam would be best done by going over each item in the Study Guide Handout, Understanding the Study Problems Handout, and Homework Questions. The Study Problems are an important key to doing well on her exams.

Overall Professor Russell was a fair teacher and kept class interesting.
