I am not a Biology major, but I did enjoy Jennifer Warner and her class. It is a very hard class, with lots of material covered, there's no doubt about that, but Professor Warner does her best to help her students. She lets you know at the beginning, that there is extra help--extra credit assignments (journal, and portfolio), and she also gives extra credit if you attend SI (supplmental instruction). These SI sessions are scheduled several times during the week (she tries hard to accomodate most everyone's schedule). These sessions were very helpful to me, pulling my grades up considerably. I also found that if I did have a question about anything, Ms. Warner was easy to access, through office hours or through e-mail. I really appreciated her help, and her kindness to me. I enjoyed her class.

Yes, this teacher is very boring, but the tests do come straight from the notes. Go to SI (Supplemental Instruction) if you can. Many of the exact test questions are given in SI.

The class is hard, but it is also a very hard subject. Warner Delivers this class in a manner you will not see from another teacher at UNCC. She delivers a lecture while being one of the best looking females on campus. I do apriciate Biology now after taking her class

Prepares students well for exams. No material on the exam is a surprise...it somes straight from the notes. As long as the student is a good note taker, this teacher is really good. She has an answer for all questions a student may have, if she doesn't, she looks it up and answers it during the next class period.
