Darlene Alioto

Mrs. Alioto is one of the most engaging and fun instructors I've had for any history class. Of course, the subject of the class is San Francisco History, so she is given an incredibly rich subject to lecture on...but nonetheless, she could probably find a way to make a dull subject such as economics interesting! Each class is like hearing an interesting story, and when the period is up, most of the class is reluctant to have it end. She's done her research and has the answer for almost any question you could ask regarding San Francisco...plus she shows amazing slides of San Francisco's beauty throughout the years, as well as fantastic movies.

Her exams are all based on in-class notes and readings...pretty easy if you review the info.

I highly recommend taking San Francisco History with Mrs. Alioto. You won't find anyone else who could keep you anticipating your next lecture as much as she can.

Since every thing is about San Francisco where we live, it's very interesting! Her exam is totally from what we leaned from the lecture. Take her class!
