I'd like to quote another person who remains anonymous: "This teacher is quite possibly one of the finest health care professionals on the planet! Students with no motivation and little synaptic activity may find it difficult to learn from Ms. Crosson, however if you are capable of even the smallest cognitive process, you will be forever changed/improved by this genius!
Ms. Crosson is an excellent lecturer, providing relevant examples to enhance understanding. She is a credit to her profession!
We should clone her!"
I attribute this review to the anonymous person and Charles Shaw.

This is one of the best instructor's in the program. She teaches in a professional manner, has strive for students to be the best that we can be, and encourages you to do better. Those that have been complaining and bashing this fine instructor, are the ones who do not know what they are doing, and are probably unsafe to even take care of your parents, children, relatives, and EVEN your PETS!! We are not entering a field where mistakes can be easily erased. People, families, children are dependant upon our knowledge that we as professional nurses will be able to provide the right care and look out for their best interest. Alot of the students that gripe, don't do well, blame the instructors, breeze pass by, are usually the ones that don't pass the boards. Look at the past history at this web site http://www.bvnpt.ca.gov/98vnstat.htm the highest score is 77%. This school use to have one of the highest well regarded reputation around and boast an average of 98% passing score and that was before the present management staff. If you can take care of your patient SAFELY, write a careplan that emphasize the care you gave your patient, listen to the instructor's lectures and ask questions then many of us will have been lucky to gain an important education. Oh by the way, for the students that want to pursue this career, open your book and read it, don't depend on the some of the other teachers to give you the answers because I bet you it won't help you when you take the boards. As far as for Chita, you can probably catch her when she is not working her other full-time job at CPMC.

This woman has a long history of problems that have been documented by student over and over and over, she has been demoted several times within the department of VOCN and rumor among the staff is they would like to get rid of her and they know there are problems, but they haven't been able to yet. For those who have to suffer through scrambled "lectures" and tolerate her assults, I am truely sorry. She is very rude and hateful to students, she rarely answers questions, "lectures" are uninformative. She has trouble staying focused on lecture, doesn't seem to know her material very well and repeats phrases as if they relate to all of the lecture. It is almost a self study course with her. I was told by the class that graduated before mine that she puts up obsticles almost wanting you to fail, she doesn't seem interested in student success at all. Try to get out of her rotations if you want hands on, almost everyone in her clinical complained of the not being able to do any skills and felt that it was wasted rotation time. She likes to hold on to CARE PLANS and at the last minute (like the week before finals; almost one month after the due date), she will had them back and tell you they failed to pass. She has some serious issues and really enjoys toying with the students. Don't let her degrade you in anyway. If you feel she is out of line take it to Cheta, and follow through to the dean, she is well aware of the problems. GOOD LUCK.
