Man! I regret taking his class! worse teacher I've ever had at CCSF! If youre going to major in business or just want to learn basics about business, forget this class! Not that you wont learn anything, but you'll get the worst grade in your life! seriuosly! I should have dropped his class like most of the other students, but I stayed and learned my lesson! He is a good man, dont get me wrong, but not a good teacher! Maybe a good stock dealer or golfer as he claims!...whee!

This was my first business class and Im not sure if it was a good idea to start with Mr. Colonnese! He's fair! Very loud and speaks very fast but dont get scared! if youre foreign student or even native English speaker, you better listen very carefully to be able to follow him! You wont get much out of lectures; just study the review questions and then the whole book! Exams are based on the review questions that he gives out every session, but you literally have to study the whole book to be able to answer the multiple choice questions, and for the rest of the questions you have to write long, long answers! Guess what, this all has to be done in 90 min's! You need 2 hours to answer all the questions (if you knew all the answers!) It very hard to get an A, but if youre present in class every session, and do all of your homework on time and able to answer tons of questions (long answers + multiple choices) then you've got the A! He's a good man, and you'll like his personality in the class, if that's important for you!

Great teacher. Speaks from real life experience. He's very clear on expectations and writes out notes on the board every class. Take good notes, do the readings, make a decent grade on the tests and hand in the assignments - the A is yours.

He likes students to contact him with questions when confused and will answer email questions or make an office appointment. He's very fair and likes lots of class participation.

He's very loud (East coast style), but don't let that scare you, he really believes in what he's teaching and really wants students to learn. The information is directly applicable to real life.

V. Colonnese was an awesome professor. His lecture was never boring, and his content was right now. His course outline was well structured, and his classroom tone was very welcoming. I, honestly, learned quite a bit from his class. He is very fair, and very cool. You'll like him. If you can get into his class I highly recommend him.
