This class was a pleasure to attend. The material was challenging especially since my algebra and trig were 3 years rusty. I got myself up to speed on the algebra stuff and after that it was no problem. Homework assignments were good and not overwhelming with a high volume of problems. Solution sheets were provided and I got a lot out of seeing how he worked out some of the tough problems I couldn't do.

4 exams including the final and all count equally for the grade. The final was mostly on the last section of material covered. All exams allow the student to bring in a one page note sheet and before the exam, a practice exam was given and covered before the exam day. If you go to classes, do the homework and practice exams you should be able to get an A.

He is great about emailing homework assignments and even answering questions by email. Final grades were emailed 5 days after the final exam!

I took 110A from him and would take 110B from him if I could. Highly recommended.

my name is veronique he was my teacher in math 860 and im taking right now math 110 A he is a very good teacher on of the best teacher you will meet very good very . very clear as a teacher very friendly . he wants everybody to pass he doesn't make sombody's life miserable though he could , you can't find a teacher better may be like him but not better i recommend to anyone is going to take 110A it is a pleasure to be in his class

Professor Frederics is extremely good at making complicated equations simple and so easy to learn. His class is not that hard, because he makes it easy. As long as you do the homework, you should have no problem on the tests. I learned so much from him. Highly recomended.

if I could give better grade than A+, I would give ten times A+ to Mr. fredericks. the reason is because he is so good in explaining, helping, understanding of his students. he is just like god who helps you to make your dream come true. if you don't take him, you will regret. no homework grade, no attendence concern, no quizs.good luck.

He is the best math teacher a girl could ever have. He is funny, and totally friendly. In Fred, I have found a friend. Fred..if you are out there, I miss you man..

His tests are really hard and they totally through me off because the homework was not structured the same, or the lectures. He answered questions but he was not really patient cause it was a summer course and we had to get through a lot of material in little time. I had wished he would make everyone understand everything before we went on. Some people were cheating blatently in the back of the class and he didn't seperate them till the end of the course. I thought that was unfare to the people who were really trying hard. He goes really fast and writes a lot of stuff that is already in the book on the lectures word for word, and my hand hurt after the class. If you need to take him make sure you speak up in class and demand he slow down and ask lots of questions. I had to get a tutor cause his presentation and teaching didnt' cut it for my need. If you are math wiz well then don't worry.

He is one of the best teachers I had in Mathematics. He explains a lot clearly and his lectures are easy to understand. He is not cheking the attendance. No projects. Assignments are easy to do. You will really learn your Algebra from him. If you have a problem, just talk to him and he will understand you. He understands all student's problem.
