Be prepared to memorize

Dr. Fung knows anatomy - especially the muscles and the bones, most likely because she works extensively in that area in her professional job. She may not know in detail about how other parts of the body work, but you will learn all that in physiology.

Dr. Fung, like most instructors in the science department at City College, is very approachable and would be eager to help any one having problems understanding materials covered in lecture and lab. Her tests are all based on lecture notes, which she generously writes out on overhead transparencies for eveyone to copy as she simultaneously lectures. I found this style of note-taking is a little too coddled for a college-level class, but her tests are challenging enough to balance out this aspect. Materials in lab and lecture overlap, so beware of questions you've seen in the lab manual popping up in your regular exams, and the reverse happening in the lab practicum.
