Professor Gibson is retiring this year, so this may not help many people. But just in case he comes out of retirement, here is my review: He teaches straight out of the book so you might just want to come to class for test information. And read the book because he'll ask you questions that are unique to the book. Exam questions are mainly multiple choice, short answer, and 1-2 programming questions. Multiple choice and short answer are straight from the book, so read it. Programming questions are pretty easy. You can write one page of notes, so write as much as you can on it. Homework is worth nothing, he just says we should do it. Programming assignments are worth quite a lot. They're pretty tricky. If you can't do it, he's willing to help. Overall, a decent teacher.
