Janet is really doing her job and she is serious about it. She gave me more than other teachers from my three previous English classes. I think the person who calls here boring in one of the reviews here is just one of these lasy bones. If you really want to learn something, take Janet's class, and you won't regret.

She is so boring. Her lectures are meaningless. If you don't write like you have been in college for years, she will give you a C. No matter what, a C is what you will receive. She is really boring though, and often times doesn't even have a classful of projects or things to talk about. With the daily journal I thought I was in 2nd grade, and the class was not prepared at all for the writing assignments. What a boring class and meaningless class. I wish I had actually learned what I now need for English 1B.

Goldberg is a great English teacher. She's well organized and well prepared. Her essays, I think, are really not that hard. She only gives 4 essays (not including midterm and finals) in the semester and having a three-week interval on each essay. Her midterms and finals are easy as well because the topics are based on two novels. The best thing about her is that, before the exam, she prepares the students by giving them the questions ahead. When it comes to lectures, she's alright. Her class activities? they're alright as well. Overall, she's cool.
