hilarious guy, very experienced businessperson

The first day of class, you'll notice he has somewhat of a dry voice and you're thinking, "uh-oh... it's going to be a snooze-fest". But you end up finding out that this guy has a hilarious sense of humor and is actually a good lecturer.

It terms of experience, he definitely has it. He owns businesses and was a salesperson before. He relates his own business experience to the material whenever possible. The material is very good but only fills up half the semester. The other half is filled with projects and presentations which are fun. Some classes, especially towards the end, you do nothing but "work on your project".

Tests (which are T\F) can be a bit tricky and logistical. Also, he can be a bit picky grading the presentations. But even if you are working hard, getting just B and C scores, he'll see the effort and give you an A at the end.

Good marketing teacher.

Reiman is a good teacher; easy to follow and take notes from. His tests and projects are rather easy and you will get some good information out of his classes. Only take his classes if you are going for an AS degree or certificate in marketing as the classes will not transfer to a four-year school.

I would advise students interested in business and marketing to pursue the course of study for the AS in general business as most of those classes will transfer to SFSU and UCB. If you have no plans to transfer to a four-year school, go for the marketing AS degree as it is an easier course of study.

Great Teacher. Straight Forward and to the Point.

Great teacher. Straight forward and to the point. He tells what you need to know and doesn't bother will all the minor details. If you want to pass this class go to it everyday and take a lot of notes-- your notes are your tests.

In his classes you'll get a combination of lectures, group assignments/projects, and individual assignments.

For tests it is important that you attend class on the day of the review; he will tell you all the important things he wants you to know and if you have any questions he'll be there to clarify or go over anything that you might have missed in class.

Good, easy A.

Reiman is one of the easiest teachers you will ever take. His lectures do get a little repetitive at times. He always got lists. "There are 4 basic things, that I think, are important for you to know. The first is..." This is the way he says pretty much everything. His midterm and final is DIRECTLY from his lecture, word for word. If you go to class, take notes, you will get an A. He is a little sneaky on the wording of his T/F questions though. The whole class can be taught in one day. You could miss the whole semester, go to the review session the class before the final and get everything you need to pass the course. All I can say his class is easy. Be careful if youre trasferring to SF state and want his class for requirements, some dont trasfer over, only the units do.
