She came highly recommended to me, so I took her class. I loved it! She is funny in a goofy sort of way. She seems to care about her students and helps a lot during office hours. When you have a writing project, she gives a lot of reminders in class about where you should be on it, and "brain-storming" sessions to help in the writing process. This helps you not slack and get behind. She was generally very helpful, and would go over terms and other things you needed to know. The only thing that sometimes bothered me was that she would call on you in class and if you didn't have your homework prepared she would chide you in front of everyone, which is embarrasing and kind of unfair sometimes. I think she does this because it is uncomfortable so you are less likely to come to class unprepared in the future. She really wants you to do well. It's also very important to her for you to take part in class discussions, so if you want to hide don't take her class. Almost everyone in class liked her a lot and two of my friends who took her class before also loved her.
