Shaun Rowley

he is a wonderful instructor. he explains materials thoroughly. he will totally help you if you have any questions. BUT he assigns A LOT of homework, some of his hw are time consuming exercises though. he also gives tests. THE KEY TO GET AN "A" IN HIS CLASS IS: come to class ON TIME (attendance counts as extra points that may boost your grade up), DO THE ASSIGNMENTS HE ASSIGNS (it may be time consuming, but this is one of the good ways to keep an A if you mess up on his tests like me), DO STUDY CARDS (adds up points for your tests). i messed up on his tests pretty bad, but im always in class, i did the research paper, multicultural paper, study cards for tests, homework assignments (you see what i mean by time consuming work?) and i ended up getting an A in his class and i didnt have to take the final cuz i had an A ;) the work i mentioned above may sound hard, but they are SUPER EASY.. just time consuming thats all :) GOOD LUCK!

I had Rowley for a workshop about three years ago and I thought he was very good at the academic success. Last year I wanted to take learn 50 during the summer, so I did. It was intense because there was a test every week and there was so much homework, on top of that there was three papers, a presentation. I really liked Shaun despite of all work, he really knew what he was teaching. I was grateful that it was over, but exhausted. I ended getting a "B" for the final and I was lucky because I came in late several times, but I worked my behind off on the essays because I am good at essays and not tests.

Shaun Rowley will teach you to be successfull. His class should be a requirement for every college student. Want to learn how to be successfull in college? Shaun is the MAN! You will have every tool made available to you in LRN50 to be a success in college. Like me, you can learn to manage your college education. No late papers ever if you learn to apply the strategies in this class. Shaun came in every morning with a smile, and a true desire and passion for his craft. He will answer any question, and is available and approachable. This was the 1st class I took in my return to college. It set the successfull tone for the rest of my college career to be proactive and manage my own education. You'd be surprised how much easier college is when you understand the principles taught in Shaun's class. Shaun is a gem of a man who knows how to reach people on a personal level, and knows the material inside and out. This is a class you will learn a ton in, by a man who cares and knows how to inspire. I tell everyone I know, Take Learn 50 with Shaun Rowley!

I just finished his Learn 50 course, and he gave us a lot of valuable informations about how to do it well in college. We have about 6 quizes, one inter-cultural event paper(2 pages) and one career exploration papar(10 pages) during the whole semester. But they are so easy! You can even take the quizes with somebody else. We have guest speakers who provide the wonderful, useful messages about sex(yeah, sex, LOL), drug, financial aid, how to do well in Math class, etc.,too! Take this class, and take him, you will have fun and learn a lot! Oh yeah, BTW, if you can get an A be4 the final, you don't even need to take the final exam! So study hard before, and relax at the end!
