If there was a way to add another plus to those a's, Id make it that way. "approachable" is a really good way to describe Don, I agree with the other review. He is very thurough, but not in such a clinical way that it makes you uneasy. He's very sweet and keeps upbeat. He gives you a warning at the begining of class if he is grumpy (which is rare, and not even that grumpy anyway)... He critiques in a very constructive way, and respects everyone's artistic space. The only negative things he brings up in critiques are things that might cause your piece to break or not function. If you're looking for a boring art class, dont sign up with this teacher. ;)

Don Santos is a inspiring teacher. He has a wonderful way of connecting with students. He has a wonderful personality and funny sense of humor. His warm presense is an asset to his class. His class is spent mostly working in the lab with the clay and he is there to support and guide you through the learning process. He is approachable and tries his best help you learn about ceramics. He does not play favorites and is a fair grader. His exams are not very hard, as long as you attend class regularly you should be able to get an A for the class. I found this class to be a fun and rewarding experience. I highly recommend this instructor! He is definetly an asset to this school! Thanks Don..Keep up the good work!
