Ms.Wilson knows what students want and need, so she'll teach the class based on what we need. She will give quizes after each reading assignment, which means, you gotta know what you just read! And don't slack off with reading assignments or you will end up with "F" just like me. I don't mean to intimidate you:) but you do need to work a little hard in her class, which you will find them very helpful and get you ready for 1A.

Ms. Wilson's Eng 40 class is NOT for slackers. Expect to read a lot and don't expect to talk your way into an A for your essays. She grades essays fairly and gives good comments, too. Exams are probably the hardest area in her class, no multiple choice here! If you take her class you won't regret it, she's fun and makes time pass by quickly. Highly recommended!

TAKE THIS CLASS NOW! close this window, open up a new one, and register for Wilson's class! Out of *ALL* (not a generalization) my english classes so far in my academic life, THIS class has taught me the most: i actually learned how to analyze literature, write essays with clarity and brevity, and write with confidence in any future english course. I have hated english classes all my life, but this is one class I would take again. Ms. Wilson will come off intimidating in the beginning, but she just wants to weed out the weak in my opinion (ha! i used a cliche, now what? :)). Three reasons to take this class: 1) Wilson teaches with enthusiasm, and she actually knows what she's talking about unlike other english teachers here, 2) This class, UC-level, will prepare you for future english classes, 3) The analysis part of this course will help you if you plan to go to graduate school (with the analytical part of the GRE). Stop reading! Go register!
