He is a hard teacher. But if you put in the time, it will really benefit you. It seems like a lot of busy work in the beginning but the experiment summaries really help you for the quizzes. Don't spend too much time on them though. His tests are hard, be sure to study! Just stay on his good side and you'll be fine. Don't ask too many questions in class or lab. Be a quiet little mouse and see the tutor to explain something you don't understand. Look in your book too.

My registration date was late so that's how I ended up with Davis. After reading all of the previous reviews, I was not looking forward to this class. But after it's all said and done, I really liked his class. He really warms up toward the end of the semester. I think he's really hard in the beginning to weed out those who don't want to be there. At the end of the semester, there was about half the class left and it was the not so motivated half who ended up dropping. If you want to learn and are willing to put in the work then you should be fine.
