Ambrose is a very nice guy and he explains everything clearly so you can understand. He also uses the same quizes and exams (for the same textbook). So if the textbook changed, then the quiz and exams did. He goes over everything that you need to take the exam although the final was very difficult. I had an high B before the final and my final grade was a C (I failed the final). I would take him again.

Ambrose is a very easy going teacher. He is very good explaining material for students who haven't had accounting exposure yet. Very clear instruction and down-to-earth explanations/examples. Grading is straight forward: http://www.smccd.net/accounts/ambrose/ Lectures are based on the textbook publisher's slides - which is kinda boring, but easy to follow if you had to miss classes. He is not strict about attendance. As long as you show up for quizzes and exams, do all projects and submit homework - you can get an A easy. I also liked that he solves a lot of problems in class, which makes it easier to do homework and preps you for quizzes and exams.

I'm sorry, this teacher is very boring. His lectures are very mundane. He doesn't really give his own lectures, but he follows the ones found on the internet. He marked me off points for putting too many $ signs on the projects, which I found to be very unfair. He does go over a lot of the hw before we turn it in. The projects are pretty much done on your own. I really really hate the tests and quizzes, there is no way I can memorize all the materials. But I guess he's the only one out of the other 3 to 4 that I would choose as an accounting teacher.

This teacher is better than Bruce Maule. Maule is harder but you learn alot more. Ambrose is easy but he doesn't explain as good as Maule. In Ambrose's class, 50% of your grade is on special assignments, 40% of your grade is one exams and 10% on quizes. His quiz is like an exam but fairly easy. The midterm test is part take home and part in class.

Mr. Ambrose is a nice person eventhough his class is boring. He explaines the material very clearly and easy to understand. However, you will still have to study it and do the homework. He uses same quizes and exam every semester and give the same homework/project. If you can get old tests from your friend who took him, and all the homework, you will be fine. Yet there is no final that you can get so you have to study for the final. He only takes attendance the beginning of the semester so you don't really have to show up. But make sure you show up towards the end of the smemster because he will probably give you some in-class assignment which worth like 100 points or more, and that really matters to your final grade.

Mr. Ambrose explains things which everyone understands... I like hime cuz he explains everything slowly and he makes sure everyone gets it. He goes through the homework before you do it. He review each exam before he test us. I think he's gonna teacher Actg121 next sememster, but TAKE him anyways. He's a good teacher.
