W Esteva

My daughter and I were talking about professors we had, and W. Esteva's name came up (we had him at different times - about 15 years ago for me and 5 for my daughter). In any event, he was such an interesting and inspiring teacher. He helped me see things in a very different ways. My daughter also was enthralled by him.

I can't help but smile everytime I see Mr. Esteva. He is such a happy and content man. He's traveled the world...he knows practically every language known to man. He is funny. Its weird, he is very relaxed and at the same time he is so animated. You have to meet him yourself to understand. He is one of those teachers where you don't want to miss class. Everyday, when I go to his class, I get excited wondering what I'll learn today.

He might intimidate you the first class. Keep on going!

And its true...he doesn't really care about grades. All he really wants to do is show you another way of seeing life. A more free way. He is a happenin' dude. He will only be teaching for one more year, so sign up!

Go in with an open mind!

I took this class a while ago, but to this day i remember the class so well. This is an amazing man that will teach you a veiw on life that is rare. you'd have to be dumb not to take this class. I consider this the best teacher I've ever had. He had a huge impact on my life and others. I don't know what to say to convince people to take this class, but I wish everyone can take it. His class is very simple too. You read 2 books for the semester and write an essay for each. He even reads and explains one book in class. That's it. He doesn't want to work people, he just wants them to learn, so he gives a relaxed atmosphere
