Antionette Ferrang Bloom

I took the summer telecourse of this class. The teacher, Antoinette, or Toni, as she likes to be called, is a pretty nice woman. She really wants you to pass the class, and she offers extra credit options, so you can get 10 extra points.

She has more on-campus meetings than most telecourse teachers, but that's because she has a midterm and final review session before the exams, which you can attend or not, but I recommend that you do!

Another thing I like about her is that during the exams, if you're confused about something, you can go up to her and she will talk you through it so that you can figure out the answer. She doesn't give you the answer, she just expects that you have studied the material and just need some direction about figuring out the question. She also gives you several ways of contacting her if you need help.

After the final, she asks that you check in with her so that you can double check the points she has listed for you, and you can clear up any issues at that time with her.

Don't think this is an easy class. There is a lot of reading required, and the tests can be a little challening. But I like this subject so it was very interesting to me, and I like Toni Bloom's teaching style.
