M. Hom

Precalculus? It's easy if you take Mr. Hom's class. His class is fun and sometimes a bit fast so that you won't feel sleepy. His speech is clear and cogeny. All the precalculus stuffs seem so easy after his explaination. He's nice too.

Mr. Hom is a great teacher. The homework he assigns is what's on the test, so if you didn't do good on the test, you haven't been doing your homework...or listening in class! His tests are very fair...he's a nice guy.

Mr. Hom is an excellent math teacher. He thorougly goes through homework problems with the class. The tests are not at all bad, if you do your homework and pay attention. Be sure to do your homework, he will throw pop up quizzes at you. They're not so bad. Don't talk or be late! You get a free 100 points for participation. That's like a free A on a test. He is very willing to help ouside of class. Very patient. Take Hom for any math. You'll be happy with the results.

Great teacher but his class is ALWAYS full after the first registration day. I tried to take him for math but I could never get in =(. He lets you use the book (no notes) on your test and his test are basically what he says in his lectures.

Mr. Hom is by far the best math teacher I have had since high school, he makes it seem so easy that you catch on so quickly. When you come across some information that you may not be clear on, he will guide everyone through it and make sure you understand it. His tests are not too hard! the reflect the homework exactly, he takes a couple questions number by number from his lectures, so nothing is foriegn or hard to understand. This teacher is a MUST!

Mr. Hom is the best math teacher at the college of San Mateo. If you have a hard time understanding math or feel that there is no teacher capable of teaching you math skills you're completely wrong. Mr. Hom is a great teacher. He starts from point A and explains math the simple and fun way. He writes very clear and neat on the board and explains everything clearly. His test reflects exactly what you learned in class and on homework; nothing is foreign. He does expect you to be in class everyday and to take notes. Believe me, after taking a math class instructed by Mr. Hom you will never want another math teacher other than him to teach you math.

Mr. Hom is great. I just finished my semester with him. All I have to say is that he was an awesome teacher. Calculus was a hard subject, he taught is so simplistically that it was easy to understand. He does require that you come to class and do your homework to prepare you for his tests. His tests arn't exactly easy but he will give you points for at least trying them. He also funny. Good teacher, great educator. I would highly recommend him for any math courses.

Mr. Hom can take the most complex ideas and make them understandable....and sometimes, even funny. He makes you do homework, but most of his tests are like homework, so it is essential to keep up on it. Mr. Hom assumes that you are supposed to be in the class you are in, so he won't reteach ideas from prior classes.
