The humans across the world are ours to care about.

As a Berkeley graduate student, I must say that Professor Feig remains the best I have ever seen. She cares deeply, knows more than anyone I have met about Eastern Europe, is, of course, brilliant, but most of all teaches her students to think, and to care. She reminds us that this world is ours to tend to and lead in, and that the humans across the world are ours to care about. Because of her, I succeed. Because of her, my mind is now so well structured for analysis (and it was not before). Kudos, kudos

A really thought-provoking, stimulating teacher!

I know Dr. Feig only from three online courses. Her use of the WWW taught me how much scholarly information is available to anyone with access to the internet. Her courses are based on research that the student carries out using hundreds of WWW sources she has collected and described for student use as desired. There is also a textbook for each class that serves as a basic presention of the material around which information learned from websites the student has reviewed can be organized. Exams are based on information the student has gleaned from websites and the textbook. She has done, and continues to do, an elegant job! She encourages and demands thoughtful essays in her exams. She's a real winner!

Great teacher

Really good teacher who knows what she is talking about. She is also really understanding and would bend over backwards to help a student out.

EXCELLENT teacher!

Dr. Feig is a short, feisty Montana girl turned one of the best teachers that Foothill has to offer. She keeps her lectures interesting and allows you to draw your own conclusions and opinions, even if they differ with hers (you have to back them up appropiately, though). In her 4A class, you are given a list of books to choose from that you have to write a report on. I didn't care for this assignment personally (although I'm sure I'm in the minority there), but the exams made perfect sense and you were essentially given a subject and a lot of flexibility on what you wanted to do with that subject. I wouldn't hesitate to have her as a teacher again, and would recommend her to anyone.
